PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyester elastomer excellent in terms of both vibration-damping performance and heat resistance.SOLUTION: In the provided thermoplastic polyester elastomer, a hard segment consisting of a polyester constituted by a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component consisting principally of 1,4-butanediol and a soft segment consisting of an aliphatic polycarbonate having a diol component consisting principally of an aliphatic diol having 5-12 carbon atoms are coupled; 90-70 mol% of terephthalic acid or 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid and 10-30 mol% of isophthalic acid are included with respect to the entire dicarboxylic acid component used for the hard segment. |
