PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine capable of holding a housing box without requiring a rotary mechanism and a lock mechanism, capable of stably holding the housing box, and capable of effectively utilizing a dead space formed on the back face side of a backrest of a driver seat as a storage area of the housing box.SOLUTION: A minishovel on the present invention comprises a pedestal 5 provided on a counter weight 2 and fixing the lower end of a column 4a of a cabin 4 for covering an upper part of a driver seat 3 and a holder 8 held by a holding member 6 fixed to this pedestal 5 and storing the housing box 7. The holder 8 is slantingly arranged along a backrest 3a of the driver seat 3. The holder 8 is arranged so that an upper end part 7a of the housing box 7 normally stored in the holder 8, does not project more than an outer peripheral surface 2a of the couter weight 2 in a plan view. |
