摘要 The present invention relates to an air circulation-type combustion system and combustion method using pellet fuel, the system and method minimizing the emission of smoke and enabling an increase in fuel efficiency since the smoke, which is generated when pellet fuel is burned by a heat source of a heater bar, is recirculated so as to be reused as an air supply source. The air circulation-type combustion system using the pellet fuel comprises: a burner provided inside the housing so as to accommodate the pellet fuel and burn the same by the heating of the heater bar; an air circulator capable of suctioning the smoke generated when the pellet fuel accommodated in the burner is burned, and circulating the same; and an oil collection tray provided inside the housing so as to collect the oil generated from meat. The air circulation-type combustion method using the pellet fuel of the present invention comprises the steps of: igniting and burning the pellet fuel by the heating of the heater bar while the pellet fuel accommodated in a pellet supplying part drops down to the burner; suctioning, by the air circulator, the smoke generated when the pellet fuel supplied to the burner is burned; discharging the smoke, suctioned by the air circulator, through an air circulation passage by the operation of a circulation fan; and circulating the smoke, which is generated from the pellet fuel, inside the housing according to the operation of the air circulator so as to minimize the emission thereof to the outside of the housing.
