<p>PURPOSE:To sustain operation of generator at maximum allowable output by operating generator output so that the temperature will be within an allowable range, with reference temperature rise data at temperature limit parts, at the time of trouble in cooling system and then controlling the generator output control system based on the operation results. CONSTITUTION:A generator 1 is provided with four hydrogen gas coolers 2. Upon missing of one hydrogen gas cooler, a computor 3 executes an operation based on detected values S1-S4 of generator temperature and delivers a generator output lowering command S5. If the generator output is not lowered, temperature S1 of stator winding exceeds an upper limit. Consequently, generator output is lowered so that the temperature of stator winding lowers below the upper limit. Since the generator output lowering command S5 is determined based on the measured value S1 of stator winding temperature, maximum allowable output can be produced from the generator.</p> |
