PURPOSE:To synthesize musical sounds having various timbres by reading out a waveform in the section corresponding to a control input from a waveform memory and charging it as the initial waveform to a loop circuit where the input signal is subjected to delay processing and is circulated and taking out the signal circulated in the loop circuit as a musical sound signal. CONSTITUTION:The start address and the end address of the section corresponding to a key code KC, touch information TOUCH, and tone color designating information TC are set in a waveform memory read control part 5, and multiplication coefficients corresponding to timbre designating information TC are set to multipliers 91 and 92 by an output control part 9. Addresses in the section from the start address to the end address are repeatedly supplied to a waveform memory 4, and waveform values WM corresponding to the section are read out of a waveform memory 4 and are charged to a loop circuit 8 through a filter 6. Signals from two points of the loop circuit 8 are mixed through multipliers 91 and 92 and an adder 93 and are outputted as the musical sound signal. |
