PURPOSE:To provide a case for a camera by which image pickup underwater can be performed and by which image pickup on land can be performed by detaching a grip. CONSTITUTION:In the case of performing the image pickup under water, a video camera 14 is housed in the case 10 and the grips 41 and 42 are attached to the case 10 through a coupling plate 43. The function of the commander of the grip 41 is utilized, and an infrared signal from an LED 55 is received by a light receiving part 35 inside the transparent window 38 of the case 10 so as to operate the video camera 14. In the case of using the case for the camera on land as a case for dripproof, the coupling plate 43 is detached from the case 10 and the video camera 14 inside is operated by using the operation buttons 24-26 of the case 10 for the camera. |
