Prodn. of glass by press-blowing - has RAM which is cooled by air-cold gas mixture to increase productivity
摘要
Press-blow method of producing glass objects has a ram for forcing the molten glass into the mould which is cooled by a mixt. of air and cold gas. A low boiling point inert gas is pref. used and the air is pref. dried prior to mixing with the cold gas in liq. form in a Venturi tube. The temperature of the mixt. is regulated by the amt. of cold gas used. ADVANTAGE - The air-cold gas mixt. reduces the cooling and solidification time of the glass and so increases productivity.
