The adjustable spring mechanism is for a guitar tremolo system (A), this hinging up and down on an axis (B). This is held in the starting position by one or more springs, preferably cylindrical. To the right or left of the axis is a short larger-diameter top spring-guide and fixing portion (1) and a long smaller-diameter sliding-pin portion (1a). A stop portion (C) comprising a compression spring (2), spring guide (4), sliding-pin guide bore (5), external screwthread (6), rotary stop ball (7), and knurled nut and locknut fits on a cylindrical boss of the tremolo system. The spring bears at the top against the movable tremolo system, and at the bottom against a felt- or rubber-covered stop plate (10, 11) screwed to the main body. USE/ADVANTAGE - Guitar tremolo mechanism is compact and light in weight, simple to instal and easy adjusted from front or rear.
