<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color separating filter which can prevent an optical flare and fog as a solid-state image sensing element camera by forming a metallic light shielding layer by electroless plating on the side face part to shield wasteful light from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A filter layer 11 for color sepn. is provided on one surface of a transparent glass substrate 10. A filter layer of an org. resin formed by dyeing a thin film of a photosensitive material consisting of a water-soluble resin such as gelatin, glue, casein or the like by a dye after photosetting of such film is used for the layer 11. An inorg. interference filter layer formed by laminating alternately thin films having a high refractive index and thin films having a low refractive index as exemplified by TiO2-SiO2 into about 10-20 layers is of course usable for said layer. A metallic light shielding layer 12 is provided on the side face of the color separating filter by electroless plating of a metal. An electroless plating layer of an alloy selected from combinations including nickel-iron, cobalt-iron, copper-iron, etc. is enumerated in addition to the single plating layer of the metal selected from nickel, cobalt, iron, copper, gold, etc. as the material of the layer 12.</p> |
