PURPOSE:To attach and detach a light shielding member properly, easily and quickly to and from a poorly visible indication at the place of elevator installation, in accordance with the brightness of surroundings of floor in each building or on each storey. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide grooves 1a are formed along the left and right edges of the rear side of a face plate which incorporates indicating lights 2, 3 and 4. A shade 6 which is attached to and detached from the face plate 1 is U-shaped in cross section in accordance with the shape of the face plate 1 and is projected from the face plate forward to shield the front surface of the face plate 1 from light. A pair of guides 6a are formed along both edges of the rear end of the shade 6 so that the shade 6 can slide in the guide grooves 1a. |
