<p>PURPOSE:To make the circuit scale small without need of high speed algorithm by converting a serial data string into a parallel data, generating a parallel accumulation data string and converting the string into a serial data. CONSTITUTION:A serial data subjected to DCT transformation is converted into an 8-bit parallel data according to a clock signal CK 1 by a serial parallel converter 1 and fetched by a shift register 2 by using a load signal OAD 1, shifted by a clock signal CK3 and a serial data (c) is generated. The data (c) is fed to multipliers 3,4 and in total 12 times of multiplier processing is implemented by using coefficient data from coefficient registers 28,29 sequentially to generate product data e0, e1. Then the result is subjected to sign inversion in a prescribed timing and accumulated to generate an accumulation data string and the string is converted into a serial data by a parallel/serial converter. Thus, the circuit scale is made small without need of the high speed algorithm.</p> |
