<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of signal deterioration at the time of dubbing, etc., by providing a host device which converts FM signals reproduced from one magnetic recording medium into optical signal and a slave device which converts the optical signals into FM signals and records the FM signals on the other magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When a host device 11 reproduces magnetic recorded signals on a master tape 1, a reproducing head 2a converts the signals into FM signals and transmits the FM signals to a rotary transformer 3a. The reproduced FM signals are subject to noise removal, F-characteristic improvement, etc., at a reproduced FM signal processing circuit 30 after the FM signals are amplified by means of a reproduction amplifier 4. The processed FM signals are inputted to a slave device 24 from its optical signal input terminal 34 through an optical signal output terminal 32 and optical cable 33 after the signals are converted into optical signals by means of an FM/optical signal conversion circuit 31. Then the optical signals are recorded on a dubbing tape 23 through a recording head 2b, etc., after the optical signals are processed for noise removal, f-characteristic improvement, etc., by means of a recording FM signal processing circuit 36. Thus the tape 23 which faithfully records the recorded signals of the tape 1 can be produced.</p> |
