Solar energy is recovered by a constructional component having a ray absorbing layer secured by a layer of glue to a supporting one. The latter is of inorganic foam material, while a system of passages for a heat-transfer medium extends over the former. The rear sides of the passages, furthest from the surface, and also the glue can be coloured black. In the case of the passages, this can be done by duromer polyurethane paint. A cement-polymer dispersion glue can be used, or alternatively a non-foam geopolymer, or an elastomer interlaced polyurethane foam. ADVANTAGE - Forms integral part of building.
