The apparatus directly injects a neccessary quantity of fuel into a combustion chamber y use of compressed air to reduce the quantity of the exhaust gas. The fuel injector comprises a main valve (A) having a guide (10) and forming a screwed passageway (12) round a needle (5); an electronic valve (C) directly connected to an entrance of the screwed passageway (12) control the supply of the compressed air; a fuel valve (B) also connected to the screwed passageway (12) and switching a nozzle (16) by driving a needle (15) assembled with an armature (19). The armature (19) is driven by the magnetization of a coil (18). A head (H) is formed on an end of the needle (5).
