An anchoring element (6) for anchoring a ground anchor (1) to a structural member (2) to be supported, for the purpose of allowing the intactness of a closed protective tube (4) which encloses strands (3) of the ground anchor (1) in the bore hole and protects the strands (3) from corrosion to be checked by applying a voltage between the strands (3) and earth and measuring the resulting current even after the grouting of the uppermost section of the ground anchor (1) in a lead-through passage (13) in the anchoring element (6) and of the latter in an anchor lead-through (14) with a cement mass, is made of an electrically insulating material, preferably polyamide, at least to such an extent that there is no electrically conductive connection between the strands (3) and the cement mass in the lead-through passage (13) on the one hand and the cement mass outside the same and the structural member (2) on the other hand. The anchoring element (6) can be made of steel, for example, and can be covered with a polyamide coating, or it can have an anchor connection piece (7) of polyamide and an anchoring plate (9) of steel with a polyamide coating or can also be made entirely of polyamide. The anchoring element (6) can comprise a tube piece which consists of a sealing section inserted in a sealing manner into the lead-through passage (13) and of an electrically welded sleeve which axially adjoins the sealing section and which is fused together with the protective tube (4). <IMAGE> |
