A hand set of a wireless telephone forms a conical concave part on its bottom face. A conical shape projection to be inserted into the concave part of the hand set is formed on the main body of the telephone. The anode and cathod for charging are separately placed on the conical projection, and a magnetic hoop is mounted on around the conical projection. The concave part of the hand set includes an insertion cap having a contact piece and an elastic contact terminal, and a metal hoop is provided on the bottom face around the concave part of the hand set. This charging apparatus for wireless telephone is free in the direction of joining the hand set onto the main body.
