The cross linkage rod is for the wiper system of a vehicle. It consists of a drive rod (1), a drive rocker (2) and a linkage made up of two levers (3a,3b) which are spaced apart on a bearing bolt (6) in a bearing bush (5). The bearing bolt has a circumferential groove (9) produced during a work sequence which also produces a rivet journal, the breadth of which is a third of the distance between the outer edges of the sliding surface of the bearing bolt. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle windscreen wiper linkage rod which is capable of working normally at low temp. and which can be mfd. at a reduced cost.
