Window lock with a lock housing 1 and a bolt 2, fitted so that it can swivel in relation thereto in the surface direction of the lock housing and having a locking tongue 3 and a handle 4. The lock housing has been made essentially in one piece from a flexible material, such as plastic, and has a slot for the locking tongue 3 and a circular guide opening for a guide plate 3a situated in the locking tongue 1. A slot extends from the guide opening to the front edge of the lock housing , so that the bolt part can be shot into the lock housing from its front edge in such a way that the guide plate 3a is then guided by the guide opening. <IMAGE>
