METHOD FOR PRODUCING N-ACETYL-L-GLUTAMINE

The N-acety-L-glutamine is prepd. by (a) mixing L-glutamine (average diameter is 50 micrometer) (I) with glacial acetic acid (II) and anhydrous acetic acid (III) in the reactor (mixing ratio of (I):(II):(III) is 1:4:1.45), (b) reacting the mixt. at 41 deg.C for 5 hrs., (c) cooling the obtd. reactant into 15-20 deg.C and (d) dehydrating the cooled reactant and drying at 60 deg.C or less to obtain the final product.
