PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HtVA type liquid crystal display device at low cost and without display unevenness.SOLUTION: In a VA type liquid crystal display device using a liquid crystal composition of which the dielectric anisotropy is positive, and it has a phase difference film containing cellulose ester of which the acetyl group substitution degree is within a range of 2.2 to 2.6, and Mw/Mn (a value of ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight) is within a range of 3 to 8 on both sides of a liquid crystal display element. |
