摘要 The IC engine cooling system has a thermo-electric generator (6) between the cooler (3) hot and cold side. The generator consists of semiconductor elements in series and in parallel, and of terminal clasps (7). Instead of the cooling liq. of the IC engine (1) the hot side of the cooler is formed by the engine exhaust gas. The liq. cooled engine air to cool the liq. (2), with the air supplied by a fan (5). The generator semiconductor elements are so connected that a d.c. of a desired voltage can be tapped at its terminal clamps. The voltage supply is maintained as long as the engine cooling takes place. ADVANTAGE - Partial utilisation of waste heat and improved energy requirements.
