<p>The inhaler comprises a body with a one-way valve for air and medication flow, and a mask-type adapter to conform to an infant's face and with two frustoconical parts with flared sidewall, one secured to the body exit end and the second integral with the first and flaring outwardly at a greater angle than the first part and internally conformable to the user. A signal, pref. a whistle, in the first part sidewall provides an audible signal when the infant breathes. The first part is pref. of pliable material and is thickest at the end secured to the body, tapering outwardly away from this. The second part pref. also tapers in thickness to be thinnest at its open end.</p> |
