<p>The invention lies in the field of instruments for measurement and refers in particular to an opacimeter or smoke meter for measuring the opacity of a fluid passing through a measurement chamber 1. The instrument has means of insulation made of perfectly transparent material located between the measurement chamber 1 and phototransmitter 5 and photoreceiver 6 means. Said means of insulation are transparent elements 9 which prevent any contact between the fluid and the phototransmitter 5 and photoreceiver 6 means, preventing the escape of fluid from the lateral openings 3 of the measurement chamber 1 through which a light beam 4 passes. <IMAGE></p> |
