A computer/microprocessor guided laser beam is to be used to address heat or ultraviolet light (or other frequencies of electromagnetic waves) sensitive pixels on a display board, thus creating a moving display. The speed at which a laser can be made to traverse would make this display extremely fast, even capable of Video/Television projection. Uses of this display would be numerous as it possesses superior performance at a lower cost than conventional display systems. Moving LED displays are difficult to read in daylight, in direct sunlight, or indoors. Flip-disk technology is an alternative to LEDs, but each disk requires its own electromagnet, further increasing the cost, as each electromagnet has to be individually addressed. Laser guided displays will be much faster, posses higher resolution and considerably cheaper than conventional displays, especially as size and resolution increase.
