PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer sheet which is excellent in heat resistance, coating film properties and slip properties or the like in addition to antistatic properties and corrosion protection properties, good in traveling properties of a thermal head and has an excellent antistatic layer (and heat resistant sliding layer) free from accumulation of refuse in the thermal head and abrasion thereof. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transferable coloring material layer is formed on one side of a thermal transfer sheet and an antistatic layer is formed on the other side thereof. In the thermal transfer sheet, the antistatic layer is constituted of acrylic resin containing quaternary ammonium base or the cured body thereof and an inorganic ion exchanger. |
