The method for changing the font data by 180 degree in a dot matrix printer comprises the steps of storing the start address for image buffer and the start address for revolutionary buffer, counting nine, storing font data after reading it, storing a block of data to memory for the revolution of 90 degree, storing the block of data to memory for another memory for the revolution of 90 degree, and storing the data to RAM for buffer, thereby providing the function to change the data by 180 degree and to enhance the printing speed.
