SWITCHING DEVICE FOR OPTICAL CONNECTOR

PURPOSE:To provide the optical connector switching device which smoothly switches optical connectors. CONSTITUTION:The optical connector switching device is equipped with a support member 13 where the couple of optical connectors 11 and 12 are arranged, a couple of reference pins 14 and 14, a pressing means 15 which presses the optical connectors in the abutting direction, a couple of switching members which move one of the optical connectors at right angles to the reference pins to switch optical communication lines, and a driving means which drives the switching members individually to switch and move the optical connectors. The pressing means 15 consists of a pusher 16 which comes into spot or line contact with the optical connectors at least two width-directional positions and pushes them in the abutting direction, and a spring 17 which gives the pressing force to the pusher.
