The moulded plastics socket (1) consists of a tube (2) with an enlarged end which forms a flat flange (4) all around the edge. The tubular section also has a raised, concave collar (5). On the underside of the flange there are two straight ledges (8) with enlarged ends (9) and positioned close to the upper edge of the concave collar. A washer is held in place between the ledges and the collar. ADVANTAGE - Insulating socket, incorporating a washer, which prevents loss of washers or use of wrong washer.
