PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method that can motivate a player to participate in a game over multiple periods.SOLUTION: A control method of the present invention is a method of controlling a computer offering a game executed by multiple players in each of predetermined multiple periods, and comprises: determining a first rank of each player in accordance with progress of the game in a first period of the multiple periods; determining a second rank of each player in accordance with progress of the game in a second period of the multiple periods later than the first period; storing a point corresponding to the second rank in association with each player on the basis of the first rank of each player; correcting the point corresponding to the second rank associated with each player; and storing a prize based on the corrected point of each player in association with each player.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
