PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology suitable for wide-variety small-lot production and suitable for trimming an injection molded article having a protrusion near an extension portion.SOLUTION: A trimming method for cutting a decorative sheet 12 and an extension portion 32 by use of a trimming blade 42 is provided, in which a tip 45 of the trimming blade 42 is held between the extension portion 32 and a protrusion 16, thereby, the protrusion 16 is not cut by the trimming blade 42, the trimming blade 42 is moved along a guide portion 35, and the trimming blade 42 is withdrawn at a turning point 44 of a cut line 36. Thus, even when the cut line 36 is in a complicated form, trimming can be carried out in a one-stroke manner.EFFECT: By the method, trimming suitable for wide-variety small-lot production and for an injection molded article having a protrusion near an extension can be carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
