PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device which can cut an object in a living body lumen while being inserted into the living body lumen, and can be driven with low torque while maintaining fluid-tightness between two shafts relatively moving in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A medical device 10 for cutting an object in a living body lumen comprises: a rotatable tubular drive shaft 60; a strut 41 which is rotatable while being connected to a distal side of the drive shaft 60, extends along a rotary shaft, and can expand radially outward by bending the central part; a tubular linear-motion shaft 70 which is disposed inside the drive shaft 60, can move relatively to the drive shaft 60 in an axial direction to expand the strut 41, and is rotatable with the drive shaft 60; and a tubular connection part 140 which connects a proximal part of the drive shaft 60 and a proximal part of the linear-motion shaft 70 while maintaining fluid tightness and can expand and contract in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
