PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with tomographic images with suitable image quality.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus according to an embodiment comprises a reconstruction unit, a display unit, a selection unit, and a reconstruction control unit. The reconstruction unit performs sequential approximation reconstruction. The display unit displays a plurality of tomographic images generated by the reconstruction unit performing sequential approximation reconstruction with respect to an arbitrary cross section, in association with counts of sequential approximation reconstruction calculation performed with respect to the arbitrary cross section. The selection unit selects one from among the plurality of tomographic images displayed by the display unit. The reconstruction control unit causes the reconstruction unit to perform sequential approximation reconstruction for a cross section at least other than the arbitrary cross section, on the basis of the count of sequential approximation reconstruction calculation with respect to the arbitrary cross section corresponding to the tomographic image selected by the selection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
