PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image processing apparatus and program capable of imparting gloss feeling or sizzling feeling to an image, without discriminating a subject.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 includes a processing image generation unit 11 for generating a plurality of images 41, 42, 43 of different resolution from an input image 40, an enhancement detector 13 detecting a pixel having a lightness higher than that of at least a pixel near the surrounding 4, for the input image 40 and each of the images 41, 42, 43 of different resolution generated by the processing image generation unit 11, and an enhancement processing unit 19 for making the pixel of each image detected by the enhancement detector 13 correspond to the pixel of the input image 40 as a processing object pixel, and performing the processing for enhancing the lightness in the processing object pixel of the input image 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
