PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus and a system for 3D model creation that permit extensive acquisition of data without allowing either a camera or a scanner to catch any image of the other.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus for 3D model creation (1) is equipped with an inertia measuring device (30) for measuring inertial data of the apparatus, an omnidirectional camera (10) for acquiring images of spaces above and sideways and a scanner (20) that performs 360-degree scanning in the circumferential direction. The omnidirectional camera is arranged above the inertia measuring device, and the scanner is arranged obliquely above the omnidirectional camera. As this configuration positions the omnidirectional camera and the scanner in each other's dead corner, data can be acquired extensively without allowing either the camera or the scanner to catch any image of the other, and the apparatus can be miniaturized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
