PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress error occurring in a time code, even if auto power-off is set.SOLUTION: When a moving picture is recorded by an operation unit 17, the count system of a time code attached to the moving picture is set to any one of a plurality of count systems including a free run mode performing the counting even when the moving picture is not recording. When it is not set to free run mode, a control unit 10 controls to perform auto power-off for turning the power supply off, in response to satisfaction of specific conditions, including that there is no user's operation for a predetermined time, and when it is set to the free run mode, controls not to turn the power supply off even if the specific conditions are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
