PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active sonar device capable of determining presence of various types of artificial noise in acoustic data acquired before transmission of a sound wave and in reflected wave data acquired after transmission of the sound wave, and to provide an associated signal processing method.SOLUTION: An active sonar device includes; a transceiver unit 1 configured to transmit and receive a sound wave to generate acoustic data; an artificial noise extraction unit 4 configured to use acoustic data of one or more azimuths with artificial noise to generate replica noise data having a predetermined time length before transmission of the sound wave; and an artificial noise removal unit 6 configured to use the replica noise data to remove artificial noise from acoustic data acquired after transmission of the sound wave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
