PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load cell for use as a rolling pressure sensor capable of detecting slight change of a die and reducing noise.SOLUTION: A load cell 10 comprises: a strain body 11 of the load cell fitted to a rolling machine which machines a blank material 200 having an axis into a predetermined shape by passing it between mutually opposed faces 110a, 115a of a moving die and a fixed die 115, and is a raw material capable of elastically deforming, the stain body being formed in a columnar shape and an outer peripheral face thereof coming into contact with the reverse face 115b of the fixed die 115; and a detection part 12 which is connected to the strain body 11 of the load cell and detects strain of the strain body 11 of the load cell caused by rolling pressure of the fixed die 115 in machining of the blank material 200. The strain body 11 of the load cell is such that the part coming into contact with the reverse surface 115b of the fixed die 115 is in a linear shape extending in the same direction as the axial direction of the blank material 200 passing between the moving die and fixed die 115.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
