PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a half mirror, and a novel half mirror that enable a bright and sharp image display, and a mirror reflection image display as a half mirror to be used in a surface of an image display unit of an image display device, and to provide a mirror with an image display function that enable the bright and sharp image display, and the mirror reflection image display.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method is configured to include: preparing a transfer material including a circular polarization reflection layer; bonding a surface of the circular polarization reflection layer of the transfer material to a transparent substrate with hardening type adhesive; and hardening the hardening type adhesive to form an adhesion layer of which a thickness is equal to or more than 1 μm and equal to or less than 5 μm, in which pencil hardness of the surface of the transfer material to be bonded to the transparent substrate is equal to or less than HB. Further, provided are a half mirror, and a mirror with an image display function including the half mirror obtained by the manufacturing method.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
