PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of reducing decrease in an observer's visual field (particularly a visual field in a lateral direction).SOLUTION: An image display device 100 includes: a frame part 200 having a front part 210 and a temple 230; a light scanning part 600 for scanning modulated light L emitting from a modulated light generating part 400; a reflection part 700 disposed on the temple part 230, which reflects the modulated light L scanned by the light scanning part 600 and transmits at least a part of external light; and a deflection part 800 which deflects the modulated light L reflected by the reflection part 700 toward an observer's eye. The image display device is configured, as mounted on an observer, to allow an environment beyond the reflection part 700 to be visible through the reflection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
