a display; a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
accessing information associated with recorded content at a media processor and programming data associated with future content;generating an index of content according to the information associated with the recorded content and the programming data associated with the future content;generating a content selection guide from the index of the content and the programming data associated with the future content;presenting the content selection guide at the display;receiving a viewing selection at the content selection guide that is presented;transmitting the viewing selection to a media processor; andreceiving a ranking of content from the media processor, wherein the ranking of content is generated according to the viewing selection.
