PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize pertinent cooking of rice and wheat by providing rice/wheat mixture cooking course irrespectively of rice cooking course.SOLUTION: There is provided an electric rice cooker comprising an inner pot, a rice cooker main body storing the inner pot, a lid covering the rice cooker main body and upper part of the inner pot, a heating means heating the inner pot, an inner pot temperature detecting means detecting temperature of the inner pot, and a heat controlling means controlling thermal dose by the heating means based on the temperature in the inner pot detected by the inner pot temperature detecting means; and having rice cooking course shifting to temperature rising step after a plurality of water absorbing steps comprising first water absorbing step keeping first water absorbing temperature and second water absorbing step gradually rising from the first water absorbing temperature in the first water absorbing step to the second water absorbing temperature. Rice/wheat cooking course is provided irrespectively of the rice cooking course of for cooling rice in which a predetermined amount of wheat is mixed with rice. Water absorbing time in water absorbing step of the rice/wheat cooking course is longer than water absorbing time in the rice cooking course.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
