PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inward-inclined bow shape and a ship having the inward-inclined bow shape, capable of reducing an increase in in-wave resistance without impairing travel performance in flat water, capable of reducing an increase in resistance by preventing a wave from reaching above a hull, and capable of also installing an anchor without installing a giant bolster.SOLUTION: A frame line shape of a bow part of a ship forms an inward inclined shape of inclining inward in an upper position from a static water level rise position being a rise position of a water level generated when traveling in flat water being a wave-nonexistent state by a sailing speed set in design time as a typical speed with every ship generated in the bow part when sailing the ship, and comprises a hull having an inward inclined part 20 along the static water level rise position in an envelope line of continuing a starting point of the inward inclined shape in the frame line shape and a structure 40 provided in the hull 1 above the static water level rise position for sending back a wave α of reaching the inward inclined part 20 or more to the outside of the hull 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
