PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables an ink supply passage to be opened or closed to control each function of a recording device and prevents ink leakage.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording head; and an opening/closing unit 51 which is provided at an ink supply passage for supplying an ink to the recording head and opens and closes the ink supply passage. The recording device further includes: a first driving unit 52 which drives the opening/closing unit 51; and a second driving unit 53 which drives the opening/closing unit 51. The first driving unit 51 includes an electric actuator as a driving source and is able to shift a state of the opening/closing unit 51 between an opening state and a closed state. The second driving unit 53 is operated by changing a posture of the recording device and is able to shift the state of the opening/closing unit 51 into the closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
