PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that enable a user to select and specify either one of monochromatic printing or color printing for each of partial areas in a page.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a preview image creation part that creates preview image data partially including a color area on the basis of image data of an input document image; and an image creation part that creates image data for image formation partially including a color output area on the basis of the preview image data created by the preview image creation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
