PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine capable of reliably preventing the contact of an object with a cab when coming near the cab while inhibiting the speed of an attachment from being limited in the state that the attachment is sufficiently distant from the cab.SOLUTION: When confirming that the front end of an attachment 4 reaches a predetermined distance detecting start position B distant from a cab 14 on the basis of the attitude of the attachment 4 detected by attitude detecting means 11, 12, a control device for the construction machine determines whether a detected object 7 reaches or not a predetermined stop position C nearer the cab 14 than the distance detecting start position B on the basis of a distance from the detected object 7 detected by a distance detecting sensor 15, and, when determining its reaching, controls driving means 8, 9 to stop the attachment 4. When the front end of the attachment 4 reaches the distance detecting start position B, the control device controls the driving means 8, 9 so that the speed is not higher than a predetermined target speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
