PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method that secures a welding area to obtain sufficient welding strength.SOLUTION: A welding method welds a first member 110 and a second member 120 by a welding punch 210. By providing a projection 112 with the first member 110, a step 132 is formed between the first member 110 and the second member 120. A punch recess 211 for filling a welding section is formed at the tip of the welding punch 210. While crushing the projection 112 of the first member 110 to the second member 120 side in the punch recess 211 and making the end section 212 of the outer peripheral side of the punch recess 211 bite into the first member 110 and the second member 120 by applying pressure to the welding punch 210, the welding section of the first member 110 and the second member 120 is made to fill within the punch recess 211.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
