PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traceability management device capable of tracking information on marine products with a low cost configuration while preventing the deception of origin of the marine products and the deception of brand names.SOLUTION: A traceability management device comprises: a storage unit 11 that has stored the reference value of a freshness index representing the freshness of a marine product and the shipment time of the marine product; a freshness index calculation unit 12 that uses the reference value of the freshness index and the shipment time stored in the storage unit 11 to find the freshness index at the time when an information display terminal 2 reads an information display code 3 attached to the marine product; and a communication unit 13 that transmits the freshness index found by the freshness index calculation unit 12 to the information display terminal 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
