A flow-straightener apparatus and associated systems for converting a rotating airflow into a substantially longitudinally directed airflow is presented. A first annular frame 105 is provided and a second annular frame 110 arranged concentrically within the first annular frame. A plurality of flow-straightener vanes 115 are also provided, each having a first end coupled to an interior surface of the first annular frame and a second end coupled to an exterior surface of the second annular frame. The plurality of flow-straightener vanes each also have a leading edge 120 and a trailing edge 125 and each vane has a curved segment. |
