The present invention relates to a press section for dewatering a fibrous web, comprising at least two press nips (13, 14). The first press nip (13) is formed between a felted suction press roller (1), which is simultaneously used as a pick-up roller, and a counter roller (18). The second press nip (14) is formed between the counter roller (18) and an additional roller (19), preferably a shoe press roller. A hood (2) for collecting sprayed water is arranged above the suction press roller (1). According to the invention, the hood (2) forms the cantilever support for the suction press roller (1) during a replacement of the cover (8) of the suction press roller (1). The present invention further relates to a method for replacing a cover (8) in the press section according to the invention. |
