Air intake system for generator system

An air intake system for a generator module 16 and an engine 14 with a turbocharger 20 is provided. The air intake system 18 includes a base frame assembly 30, at least one conduit 32, and a supply conduit 34. The base frame assembly extends along a length and a width of the engine and the generator module which is mounted to the base frame assembly. The at least one conduit includes an inlet 58 and an outlet 60. The at least one conduit is enclosed within and extends along the length of an edge portion of the base frame assembly. The supply conduit is in fluid communication with the at least one conduit and the turbocharger. The supply conduit includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is coupled to the outlet of the at least one conduit. The second portion is coupled to the turbocharger. The air intake system provides lower manufacturing costs and improves access to the engine.
